KERRISDALE HOUSE
The lovely owners of this beautiful midcentury home wanted to keep the character elements of the house yet, at the same time, have it feel more updated and fresh. Apart from opening up the kitchen to the dining and living rooms, layout was reworked to provide optimized work stations, additional storage, and better traffic circulation. The horizontal bi-fold upper cabinets lent themselves to the clean lines which are characteristic of midcentury modern design. While the muted tones used in the glossy glass cabinet doors kept the overall aesthetic timeless and elegant.
